South Carolina Getaway

I spent the last week in South Carolina visiting family and friends. Hubby wasn't able to go because he had to work. I had the best time and was able to see and spend quality time with (almost) everyone that I hold near and dear to my heart! It was the last time that I will see my grandmother and most of my friends before Hudson and Thayer arrive in FOUR short months!

Sunday, my mom and I went to Charleston. We had lunch on the rooftop of an old building downtown, walked around and shopped on King Street and in the market and later that afternoon Shelly, Adam and Elizabeth met us for a snack - well I was the only one eating really.

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I had lunch with my mom and then went to my grandmothers house. I've been wanting to learn how to sew and of course no one can teach me, but Gran. I wanted to make the boys little rompers and it took me three days to finally get the hang of it! haha. I still have to add an applique or monogram to these, but I think they turned out pretty darn good for my first go at it!

Wednesday night, we went to visit my other grandmother who is in a nursing home.

4 generations :)

Thursday, Mom and I went to Florence for some real country cookin'. Needless to say, I ate myself into a food coma and have no pictures to show. My mom bought the boys their going home from the hospital outfit though! They are so sweet and I can't wait to bring them home in it.

Friday, I had an ultrasound appointment in Myrtle Beach at my friend Jackie's 3D ultrasound business, http://www.specialdeliveryimaging.com/
My mom and dad, brother, and Shelly all made it to my appointment. I'll put those pictures in my 20 week post that I hope to catch up on later. Before my appointment, some of my friends met us for lunch (where I ate all my food and then started picking off of their plates!) ha. Candace and Cameron brought the boys presents, too!

Friday night, there was a little get together at one of the only restaurants in Dillon. It was so smokey in the place that I didn't stay very long though.

Saturday, I spent the day at the pool and having an Easter egg hunt with my niece, Bella, and cousins, Christian-Kate and Grace- Kelly. Afterwards, I went to say goodbye to my Gran. No pictures from Saturday because I had zero make up on and looked like poo. Sorry, I'm vain.

Mom and I got up at 3:30 am Easter morning to get me to the airport in time for my 5:30 flight. I arrived back in SLC to my hubby at 12:45. I wanted to get back as early as possible because three years ago on Easter was our first date - that took place in Charleston! Daddy bought the boys sweet little Ralph Lauren bucks for their Easter present and I had ordered monogrammed Jon Jon's a few weeks ago and was happy to see them when I got home. Daddy got mommy a beautiful Burberry wallet for my Easter present and had it hid in my Easter basket with lots of yummy treats. No candy though! haha. He spoils me!

I hope everyone had a blessed Easter!
