22 Weeks

Hello, 22 Weeks!

Nothing new to report this week, which is probably a good thing! We've had such a great pregnancy so far and I really hope that it stays this way! Other than being really, really sick in the first trimester we haven't had any other issues or concerns! Thank goodness.

Since I don't have anything new to report on the pregnany front I guess I can update on our weekend.

Hubby was in Manhattan all last week for work and I was SO excited to pick him up from the airport last Friday evening. We went out to dinner for a little hibachi and I think he fell asleep by 10 pm. Saturday, I guess he was still trying to get back on Salt Lake time and wanted to sleep so I "let" him sleep until like 2:00. I was SO bored and he probably didn't even get great sleep because I kept huffing and puffing for him to wake up. Ha. Sorry, babe. That afternoon, we ran errands shopped for nursery furniture. Ugh! As much as I L-O-V-E our cribs I think it would have been so much easier to just get normal nursery furniture that you don't have to worry about picking out all the odds and end pieces. (Dresser, Changing table, etc) At least our boys will have cribs that not everyone has - haha I'm sure they care A LOT!

Sunday, brought sunshine to the dreary state of Utah! Thank goodness. It was probably 58 and one would have thought it was 85! After we made breakfast we took King for a walk in the park and went to Pet Smart for a stake so he could be outside without us keeping him on his leash. While J was away I had the grass cut, but we still needed to do some work in it to rid it of the winter doom (that will probably be back before I know it). We pulled LOTS! of weeds and I planted flowers and hung hanging flower baskets on the porch. We finally have a little color in our yard! I now just need a Spring/Summer wreath for our door. By the end of the evening I was exhausted and I think the boys were also. They were ready for bed. We made dinner, crab cakes, tortellini salad and bread (my fav) and watched a movie, finally falling asleep at 11pm.

This week I have so many things to knock off my to do list that I've been meaning to do for days, weeks, months. YIKES! I have got to get better about NOT procrastinating. haha. I'll add that to my to do list, too!

I finally booked our flights for my baby shower in New York (June 4th). I absolutely cannont wait to get there! We have so much planned in the 4 days that we'll be there though - I just hope I'm still feeling great so I can get it all done. This is a HUGE trip for us and can't wait to say why later :) The week before that we'll be in St. Augustine, Florida for a wedding/babymoon! haha.
We'll be staying here! I can't wait!!
A little R & R before our hectic trip to Manhattan the following week. Let's all pray that all is going well and I can still fly in a few weeks!

And because I know everyone out there cares what my belly looks like at 22 weeks:

Now, I'm off to tackle our massive to do list and make dinner.

XOXO
