One Year Anniversary

It's so hard to believe that one year ago (on the 15th) Justin and I were married at West Point! I honestly cannot believe how fast time has flown by! The year leading up to our wedding was spent obsessing over flowers, food, entertainment, dresses, and so much more and now this year well, for the past 5 months, we've been obsessing over cribs, strollers, smocked clothing, and keeping our boys healthy! So much can happen in one year!

Justin has been a constant support and provider, lover and best friend, someone that makes me laugh when I've had the worst day and lends a shoulder when I need a good cry. He knows exactly what to say when no one else does and knows when he shouldn't say anything at all. He has seen me at my worst and still loves me today more than yesterday. He doesn't judge me and get mad at my mistakes. He is the best husband, soon-to-be father, and soul mate that anyone could have ever asked for in a partner. I am more than lucky and blessed that he is all mine.

As we speak  type, we are supposed to be in Belize for our anniversary trip that he surprised me with on Monday, but because of our unforeseen complications we had to cancel. He isn't disappointed although I know how much of a vacation he needs and deserves. We'll just celebrate our first anniversary with takeout , comfy p.j.'s, and a movie in bed. No matter where I am as long as we're together is better than any trip!

Possibly the only one that has our ENTIRE wedding party

Quick Dress Change

He probably shouldn't have laughed at my cutting skills

Because this is what happened

I love you more today than I did on the day I married you! Happy Anniversary!

XOXO

  1. Hi! So this is really random... bear with me for a second! I saw your blog on a friend (Katie Freel Smith's) blog that she follows you, so I clicked on it. Then your first post was about getting married to a WP grad, so I asked my husband, a WP grad of '05 if he knew Justin. Turns out our husbands were in the same company at West Point! Small world! Just thought I'd share a fun connection :) My husband, John Baker, says hello to Justin and congrats to you all on your twins boys!!
