Hodge Podge

This is exactly what this post is. A hodge Podge of randomness because I'm bored.

This past weekend we Justin went to babies r us and got our monitor, "Rolls Royce" style bathtub, two boxes of diapers, wipes, and a swing. It makes me so sad that I can't partake in any of the fun baby shopping things. Oh well, this too shall pass.

I think I have our glider picked out. We're just waiting for our bedding to finally come in, tomorrow, to make sure the colors will work!

I weigh 150 pounds. Yes, I just posted this on my blog. I don't care... Judge if you want. I have promised myself that I will be back down to my pre pregnancy weight in a matter of weeks after the boys are born. Ha, we'll see right?!

After my shot today, I snuck to chik fil a. Yes, I caved and didn't come straight home. I also ordered a number 1 and an additional salad. Not a side salad a full size salad. Now you can judge.

I haven't purchased anything for myself since March. Because of this I'm proud. It all goes to the boys now.

I'm hoping that since we are 28 weeks tomorrow our specialist will let me be a little more "active". We shall see.

The people in our neighborhood have been nothing short of amazing. We get home cooked meals Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and this week two people from Goldman are bringing us dinner so almost every night I don't have to decide what I want to eat. Everything sounds good these days, I just can't decide or J can't cook it.

Justin is amazing! I told my mom that no one else would have been able to do the things that he does for us. He treats me like a queen and has not yet once complained about having to do the domestic housework.

My dog is not normal. Currently, he is running around in circles. He also Hayes bicycle riders and the mailman. He needs to go to doggy daycare.

That's all for now. Pray we get a great report tomorrow. It's a huge milestone for us!!!

XoXo

  1. Praying for a great report tomorrow! Also, wanted to tell you that a girl at work was raving about the baby blankets she uses for her daughter. She says that all of her other blankets she had previously are all treated like dust rags now. I'm sure you've already got plenty of great blankets for the boys, but just thought I'd pass the tip on to you!

The brand is Australian and it's called "Aden + Anais." You may have heard of them before! Here's a link to the blankets:

She said they are so soft & perfect for swaddling. They created an Aden + Anais line at Target, too.

Glad you have such a great hubby to take care of you!
